My name is Sven Richter and i publish on this blog from time to time. My interests are mostly computer related, but they tend to go to politics or into funny things from time to time too.

Background

I studied computer science until 2010 in Leipzig at the http://www.htwk-leipzig.de/, writing my thesis about a multiusershopsystem in Plone.

Interests:

  • programming (especially java, python, php)
  • Webfrontend technologies like gwt and severl javascript libraries
  • linux for a long time (scince the mid-90ies)
  • database knowledge

  • volleyball
  • racing
  • classic guitar

  • 2011 – now: Software engineer at http://www.itcampus.eu/ in the Rules team where we work on the rules feature for the http://www.softwareag.com/de/products/wm/default.asp. Technologies used

  • 2010 – 2011: Software engineer at http://druckundwerte.de where we developed the shiny and bright: zmuek.net. Technologies used

    • recode to java including jetty, hibernate, jpa

  • 2000 – 2010: working on several things
    • most of the time i was employed as a windows network administrator for a small windows business server environment at “planungsbüro helm und künzel gmbh”
    • doing several jobs as a webdesigner for small events like marriages and things
    • coding a bookmark manager in java and swing, using xml for data storage for fun
    • coding a cash programm for a little cafe in C++ with windows MFC
